Highlights of today’s schedule of events include: two free talks that will take place at the Sala Cunil Cabanellas of Teatro San Martín (Av. Corrientes 1530). At 3 p.m., director Mariana Percovich and set designer Fernando Scorsela, from Uruguayan company Complot, will talk about “El espacio en Chaika: transformar al teatro en un espacio no convencional” (The Space in Chaika: Transforming Theater into a Non-Conventional Space), with Carolina Balbi serving as moderator. Speaking of Chaika, tonight will be the last performance at the Teatro Margarita Xirgu: remaining tickets are on sale at this website or can be purchased in person at Teatro San Martín, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Starting at 11 in the morning, a different discussion will center on “Teatro Contemporáneo: temas, tendencias y estéticas” (Contemporary Theater: Subject-Matters, Trends and Aesthetics), featuring Celso Curi (Brazil), Vallejo Gantner (United States), Beatriz Monsalve (Colombia) and Argentine Jorge Dubatti, Fernando Rubio and Matías Umpierrez. The moderator will be Festival director Darío Lopérfido.
