Grupo Krapp

Grupo Krapp is formed by Luciana Acuña, Luis Biasotto, Fernando Tur, Gabriel Almendros and Edgardo Castro, a group of dancers, actors and musicians who have worked together since 2000 and who have oriented their activity to creative research by crossing languages and exploring disciplines beyond their limits. Their productions –picturing the well-known Mendiolaza and Olympia– depict a language structure which was originally extremely innovative in Argentine contemporary dancing; some of its features comprise: irreverence, speed, violent movement, non lineal narrative and a repetitive modus operandi; their creations are the result of a research process arising from images, climates or sensations. Their plays were presented in important festivals in Latin America, Europe and the United States. After some time in which they pursued their individual creations, Krapp members are once again together in Where the Dead Ones Go (Side B) and are currently preparing this play version Side A.
