Artistic Director DARÍO LOPÉRFIDO

Darío Lopérfido -born in 1964- is nowadays holding several positions: he is artistic director of FIBA, cultural consultant of YPF foundation, and producer of ODISEA productions.

He was consultant of PRISA group from 2002 to 2008, secretary of culture and communication of Argentina (a secretary with the rank of a Ministry) from 1999 to 2001, secretary of culture of Buenos Aires city from 1997 to 1999, artistic director of FIBA in 1996, and sub secretary of cultural action of Buenos Aires city in 1996.

He was also the director of Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas from 1992 to 1999 (a centre that is under the authority of UBA, Buenos Aires University), and secretary of cultural affairs of UBA. Finally we worked as a cultural journalist from 1985 to 1989 in the magazine “Teatro”, and also in the radios FM Rock&Pop, and la Red.

Together with Darío Capato, and Alejandro Félix he wrote: Cultural Rights in the MERCOSUR (Derechos Culturales en el MERCOSUR), published by Ediciones del Candil; and Cultural legislation in Buenos Aires City (Legislación Cultural en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires).
