Susana Torres Molina

Bio

She is a teacher, playwright and theater director. She has staged more than twenty plays, many of them translated into other languages and performed in New York, Washington, London, Mexico, Rio de Janeiro and Madrid, among other cities. Her last stage productions include Ella, El manjar, Manifiesto vs. Manifiesto, Esa extraña forma de pasión and Estática. As a playwright, she has received the following awards: Fondo Nacional de las Artes, Trinidad Guevara, Florencio Sánchez, I.N.T (Obra Breve), Hermanos Machado (Spain) and Premio Casa de América, among others. She is a Dramaturgy professor and teaches in the Master’s Program in Dramaturgy at the IUNA.
