Description

A woman and a man tell a love story which could be anyone’s. The first encounter, flirtation, falling in love and the subsequent wedding, routine, arguments, growing apart. What’s peculiar is that everything is achieved without uttering any words: only their fully expressive bodies and a little water and flour are necessary to depict the images evoking such a poetic and familiar universe. A piece of dough can turn into a baby and later a child; a flour shower can convey the greatest happiness or fury. Like water and flower, when women and men meet, they become inseparable. But that love –like the bread– has become ordinary and daily though necessary. Habits and mandates knead hopes, frustrations and disappointments in marital life. The couple tries hard; they make mistakes and try once again since there are no infallible love recipes.
