Biography

Pianist Manuel Fraga, drummer Oscar Giunta and double bassist Pablo Motta perform together in a swing trio, created in 2010. The band’s wide stylistic range shows the influences of great figures such as Oscar Peterson, Nat “King” Cole, Ray Brown and Art Blakey. Their repertoire includes original compositions and music by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Jerome Kern and Charlie Parker. The trio regularly plays at clubs and auditoriums on the Buenos Aires jazz circuit. At this year’s BAJ, they will perform their first and recently released CD, Swing Summit.
