Synopsis
Bassist Arturo Puertas will perform material from his hot-off-the-press second solo album titled Afropuertas. There, he plays with the connection between African roots and Latin American music. Except for a couple of pieces, all compositions were written by him. He recorded with Carlos
Michelini (saxes), Cirilo Fernández (piano), Ezequiel
“Chino” Piazza (drums) and Sergio Wagner (trumpet). Puertas has been a prominent musician in the world of jazz for two decades, having played with the greatest legends of the genre.
