Synopsis
Pianist, composer and educator Alan Zimmerman is certainly one of the most sought-after musicians on the jazz scene today. He plays in the groups of Ricardo Cavalli, Hernán Merlo, Marcelo Gutfraind, Mariano Loiácono, Ricardo Lew and Gustavo Bergalli, among others, and has performed live with George Garzone, Diego Urcola, Juan Cruz de Urquiza, Eloy Michelini, Carlos Lastra, Oscar Giunta, Rodrigo Domínguez, Pepi Taveira and Pipi Piazzolla. But in addition to all these projects, he leads his own band, with which he recorded the album Trío, featuring a mix of his own compositions and standards.
