FINAL TANGO SALON

The selection of the world dance champions, in the Salon Tango category, will elevate the stage of the Luna Park stadium to a first-class dance floor, this being a high point in a night full of highlights. On Monday, August 29, in addition to the competition, there will be a show featuring the Orquesta Típica del Río de la Plata and Rubén Rada, who will perform the previously unheard tango song “Araca con el tango,” specially composed to celebrate the recognition of tango as Cultural Heritage of Humanity. He will be accompanied by three Uruguayan guitarists: Guzmán Mendaro, Poli Rodríguez and Nicolás Ibarburu. For the grand finale, master dancer Juan Carlos Copes will perform accompanied by the orchestra.Tickets will be available on Monday, August 22, 11 a.m.–7 p.m., at the Casa de la Cultura (Av. De Mayo 575 – Downtown). For the semifinals and finals, a maximum of 2 tickets for one Semifinal and 2 tickets for one Final will be given out per person.
