Biography / Synopsis
Néstor Marconi Trío's biography

A classic trio for a classic musician. An essential strand in tango’s DNA since the 1970s, Néstor Marconi has forged a career that puts him among the genre’s finest. He has performed the bandoneon next to tango greats like Salgán, Piazzolla, Stamponi, Francini and Goyeneche, and has been a beacon for younger generations for decades. Today, in his role as an instrumentalist and arranger, he will perform in a trio setting with his son Leonardo Marconi (piano) and Juan Pablo Navarro (double bass). Enhanced by high-flying arrangements, the ensemble will play classics (“Pa’que bailen los muchachos,” “Taconeando”) and their own songs (“Un vino de adios,” “Para el recorrido”).
