Biography / Synopsis
Luis Filipelli presenta Utopía's biography

The long career of Luis Filipelli started in 1973, when at the age of 18 he won the television contest La voz tanguera, a launch pad that propelled him to share the stage with many greats, including his artistic father and stylistic model Polaco Goyeneche, Rubén Juárez, Héctor Stamponi, Baffa-Berlingieri and Atilio Stampone, among many others. Armed with warm voice, delicate phrasing and perfect tuning, this Buenos Aires-born singer celebrates his 40-year-long career performing, at the Festival, the material from his new record: Utopía, featuring star guests such as Juan Carlos Baglietto, Rafael Amor and Rubén “Mono” Izarrualde. He will be accompanied by the quintet of Julián Hermida, the album’s musical director and arranger.
