Orquesta El Arranque + Kevin Johansen 's biography

Continuing with the tradition of interacting with musicians from other genres – ranging from Wynton Marsalis to Leo Maslíah – El Arranque invites Kevin Johansen to the stage. This performance strengthens the synergy between orchestra and singer: together, they have recently recorded the tango “Nieva en Buenos Aires” and Leonard Cohen’s irresistible song “Everybody Knows” on Bi, Kevin’s new double album. With fifteen years of history, El Arranque is one of today’s most renowned orchestras. It is composed of Camilo Ferrero and Marco Antonio Fernández (bandoneons), Guillermo Rubino and Gustavo Mulé (violins), Martín Vázquez (electric guitar), Ignacio Varchausky (double bass), Ariel Rodríguez (piano) and Juan Villarreal (vocals).
