Biography / Synopsis
Alberto Tarantini presenta Astor Piazzolla en clave de jazz's biography

Alberto Tarantini made a late but proper entrance into the recording world. After a long road as a musician, his first CD, Jazzy (2010), was an example of vocal approach to jazz, with personal style and good taste. His most recent project, De Gershwin a Piazzolla, is based on the unexplored but existing musical relationship between the American and the Mar del Plata-born composer, and guided by the latter’s affinity with jazz. Tarantini presents jazz-style versions of the Piazzolla repertoire which are included in the album released in 2012. He will be accompanied by Juan Carlos Cirigliano (piano), Gabriel Santecchia (sax and clarinet), Arturo Puertas (double bass) and Javier Martínez (drums).
