Escuela de Tango Orlando Goñi - Nuevas Canciones del Tango (Parte II)'s biography

The development of the current tango is not only the result of technical mastery, but also of the musicians’ capacity to create and support new cultural approaches that reflect the environment in which they live. The school, which runs at the Teatro Orlando Goñi, puts emphasis on these aspects. The concert that this institution specially prepared for the occasion features the ensembles Orquesta Típica Malo Giunta, Orquesta Típica Bien Calavera and the Orquesta de Cuerdas La Gandolfo. The end of the concert will feature Cuarteto Azopardo, composed of Martijn van der Linden and Alicia Alonso (violins), Félix Peroni (viola) and Luciano Falcón (cello). This quartet continues the legacy of the Primer Cuarteto de Cuerdas Leo Lipesker.
