Juan Carlos Godoy festeja sus 90 años presentando Obsesión

Juan Carlos Godoy is an endearing figure in tango. With a long career as a singer of the orchestras of Ricardo Tanturi, Alfredo De Angelis and José Basso, and guest singer in the Sexteto Mayor, he was one of the greatest surprises of the Café de los Maestros project. Fully active and in force, he will celebrate his 90 years at the Festival with the release of the album Obsesión, which brings his biggest passions together: turf, through horse-racing tangos such as “Tirate un lance” and “Preparate pal domingo” and the Gardel repertoire, including “El que atrasó el reloj.” Also, a biographical book written by Cecilia Orrillo will be out soon. In concert, he will be accompanied by the guitar ensemble directed by Carlos Juárez.
