Los Corrales de Miserere presenta Homenaje a Ubaldo De Lio's biography

Guitarist Ubaldo De Lio was a tango giant. During his artistic collaboration with Horacio Salgán, he forged a unique driving sound, and he was also part of Aníbal Troilo’s quartet. He backed an endless number of musicians and singers: “I only missed Gardel and Magaldi by very little,” he used to say keeping a low profile as usual. Last April 24, he passed away at the age of 83, and to pay him a tribute, a youth ensemble was put together especially for this presentation. They will play duo, trio and quartet pieces evoking the ensembles he was part of. The members are Juan Manuel Santisteban (piano), Federico Santisteban (bandoneon), Alejo de los Reyes (guitar), Sebastián Noya (double bass) and Mayumi Urgino (violin).
