Ana María Stekelman y Compañía Tangokinesis presentan Piazzolla Tango's biography

A beautiful way to express what dancing to Piazzolla means: “It’s like being in a dream, with a music describing the intimacy and turmoil of an ever-growing and increasingly disordered big city.” These are the words of choreographer Ana María Stekelman, who, together with her company Tangokinesis, will present the show Piazzolla Tango. Eight dancers on stage (with Pedro Calveyra and Nora Robles as solo dancers), dance performances of “Años de soledad,” “Tango Diablo,” “Escualo” and “Fracanapa,” and all the chances of achieving a very difficult aim: expanding, over a stage with minimal scenery and subtle lighting, the perfect communion between the popular and lyrical elements of Piazzolla’s music.
