Biography / Synopsis
Tabaré Leyton's biography

A figure of the new generation of singers from the Rio de la Plata area, Montevideo-born Tabaré Leyton has a style that blends the tradition of excellence of typical-orchestra singers with modern elements of electronic tango. Similarly, his repertoire combines Gardel classics and his own original pieces. In collaboration with Max Masri (Tanghetto) as artistic producer, he released La factoría del Tango (2011), his debut album, featuring guest rock legend Hugo Fattoruso, which earned him praise as Best New Artist of the genre. After singing at the Festival with the Orquesta Típica del Río de la Plata in 2010, Leyton returns to Buenos Aires to perform his album.
