With philosophical perspective and fresh style, Homero Expósito stood out as one of tango’s most singular poets, through pieces like “Al compás del corazón,” “Afiches,” “Absurdo,” “Naranjo en flor” and “Tristezas de la calle Corrientes.” On September 23, the 25th anniversary of his death will be commemorated. To honor him, singer Lucrecia Merico, journalist Eduardo Parise and the members of Las Guitarras Saavedrinas (Ignacio Iruzubieta on first guitar and musical direction, and Germán Ariel Layna on second guitar) will get together, and pianist and bandoneon player Sebastián Zasali will participate as guest musician. The multimedia performance will include stories, recitation, songs, anecdotes and a display of previously unseen photos of Expósito.
