Cuarteto Sur's biography

Roberto Grela and Aníbal Troilo are key figures in the development of the whispering dialogue between guitar and bandoneon. They founded a tradition that continues up to these days, not only through veteran musicians but also with the new generations. Cuarteto Sur follows this legacy bringing together Hernán Fredes and Hernán Mastromarini (guitar), Juan Avilano (guitarrón) and Emiliano Guerrero (bandoneon). Amid tangos, milongas and waltzes, the musicians will perform classics of the Río de la Plata area. The ensemble will be accompanied by singers Jesús Hidalgo and Esteban Collazo.
