Yang Heng

Biography

He was born in 1975 in Jishou, in the Chinese province of Hunan. He studied at the Hunan University and the Beijing Film Academy, from where he graduated in 2001. Later, he directed short films, among them Accidented (2001), The Carriage (2002) and The Forgotten Moment (2004), as well as his first feature film, Betelnut (Bafici ‘07).
