Mamoru Hosoda

Biography

He was born in Toyama, Japan, in 1967. He worked in animation for TV until 1999, when he released his opera prima, Digimon Adventure, followed a year later by Digimon Adventure: Children’s War Game. Since 2005 he works at the Madhouse studio, for which he made The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006).
