Synopsis
A home movie obtained in an Austrian flee-market, featuring everyday scenes of a common family without director Weirich intervening at all. But that common day turns out to be March 14th, 1938, the same in which Austria was surrounded and occupied by the Nazi army. That piece of information taints every detail in the family’s life (innocent smiles, garden meals, child play) with a sinister feeling, in the context of a historical moment that’s loaded with meanings.
