Dialogue with Peter Kerekes

 Diálogo con Peter Kerekes

This Saturday at 6PM at Espacio BAFICI, the Slovenian director of the creative “66 Seasons” (2003) and “Cooking History” (2009, photo), will have a dialogue with the audience about these movies and other stages of his career as a director. The journalist Javier Porta Fouz will be the moderator. Entrance will be limited to the capacity of the room.

Kerekes was born in Slovakia in 1973 and he graduated at the Bratislava Music and Performing Arts Academy, where he teaches since 1999. With “66 seasons” he won the “Best documentary” award at the 2004 Czech Critics Awards. That same year, he participated in the joint project “Across the Border” directing the episode called “Helpers”. His most recent project “Cooking History” was praised by the critics and the public in several European and American festivals.
