Gonzalo García Pelayo

Biography

Born in Madrid, Spain, in 1947, he has been a music producer, radio broadcaster, casino player, and a manager of bullfighters. Apart from the two feature films screened at Bafici, he also directed Manuela (1975), Corridas de alegría, and Rocío y José (both in 1982). His relationship with gambling has been a subject for the book La fabulosa historia de Los Pelayos (2003) and the TV documentary Breaking Vegas. The Roulette Assault.
