Synopsis
Filmmaker Peter Whitehead suffers a serious heart attack. He dies. Or so it seems. Whitehead crawled towards a telephone, to call for help. That short trip took one and a half hour. Dead time: the length of a film. In hospital, hovering between life and death, Whitehead summons a young woman, an artist whose work he has admired, to invite her on a quest. She will go over the apparent facts of his life, rewrite his story, present him with the photographic record of all that. Whitehead is attempting to manipulate his own obituary.
