Synopsis
After El brau blau (Bafici ’09), Daniel Vázquez Villamediana switches lanes and delivers this invaluable entertainment piece, an improvised dialogue around the myth of the Eternal Feminine and the antagonism between the sexes. In a beach in Cadiz, a Chinese writer who hates women talks to a Spanish writer who loves them (Víctor J. Vazquez, the silent torero who was the main character in Villamediana’s first film). Meanwhile, the Chinese man becomes truly Chinese before our astonished eyes. The film vindicates manly conversation, finding happiness in dangerous women, and the need for being cheated on.
