Synopsis

If there are many soccer fans who defend fine soccer playing and still complain about Germany winning the 1974 World Cup against Johan Cruyff’s Dutch team, there are those with a good memory (and also the connoisseurs) who complain about Germany having won a different World Cup: the one played in Switzerland in 1954, because the runner up was Ferenc Puskás’ Hungarian team, a brilliant squad conducted by one of the best players that ever lived. Yes, Puskás. Those who know about him know his story: his 83 goals in his country’s national team; his Olympic gold medal; his exit from Hungary at the time of the Soviet invasion; his glorious, historic experience in the Real Madrid. And they will enjoy this luxurious documentary with interviews to Di Stéfano, Platini, José Santamaría, Pelé, Beckenbauer, and many others. They will also enjoy footage of Puskás in action. Now, those who had never heard of Puskás will be nothing short that amazed by his game, his left foot, his goals, his charisma, and his legendary repetition of a free kick.
