Gonzalo Tobal

He was born in Buenos Aires in 1981. He studied filmmaking at Universidad del Cine and attended philosophy and art classes at the UBA. He wrote and directed the short films Álbum Familiar (2004), Ahora todos parecen contentos (2007; First Prize at Cannes’ Cinéfondation) and Cynthia todavía tiene las llaves (2010; Critics’ Week at Cannes).
