Fredrik Gertten

Born in Malmö, Sweden, in 1956, he worked as a journalist, wrote the book Young Man Looking for the World (1995), and produced documentaries and game shows for TV. Among others, he directed the documentaries Bye Bye Malmö (2002), An Ordinary Family, The Socialist, the Architect and the Twisted Tower (both in 2005) and Bananas!* (2009).
