Michael Pilz

He was born in 1943 in Gmünd, Austria. In 1954 he started taking photos and shooting in Super 8. He produced contents for Austrian national TV (including the film Franz Grimus in 1977), coordinated workshops and lectures on experimental cinema, and directed a huge amount of films, including Wels (1984), Feldberg (1990), Indian Diary (2000) and Invocation of Bliss (2009).
