Born in Quillota, Chile, in 1979, he lives and works in Montreal, Canada. In 2005 he founded there the production company The Handshake, which develops documentaries and fiction films focused on the links between identity, human experience, geography, and ethnicity. He directed the shorts Pura sangre (2005) and Peggy, Denis and Lauviah (2007), among others.
