Jonathan Demme

He was born in Baldwin, USA, in 1944. In 1991 he won the Oscar for Best Director for Silence of the Lambs. He also directed Philadelphia (1993; winner of two Oscars), The Agronomist (2003; Bafici ‘04), Neil Young: Heart of Gold (2006) and Rachel Getting Married (2008), among other films.
