Apichatpong Weerasethakul

He was born in Bangkok, Thailand, in 1970. He directed Mysterious Object at Noon (2000), Blissfully Yours (2002; Best Director in Bafici ‘03), Tropical Malady (2004), Syndromes and a Century (2006) and Uncle Boonme Who Could Recall Past Lives (2010), all of them screened in Bafici.
