Michael Hegner

Born in Denmark in 1964, he started his career in 1987 as an assistant animation artist. He later worked in advertising, and in 2000 he co-directed with Stefan Fjeldmark his first film Help!, I’m a Fish. This was followed by The Ugly Duckling and Me (2006; together with Karsten Killerich) and Niko & the Way to the Stars (2008).
