Christian Petzold

He was born in Hilden, Germany, in 1960. He studied Literature and Theater at the Free University of Berlin, and later Filmmaking at the German Academy of Film and TV. He directed several films, including The State I Am In (2000), Yella (2006; Bafici ‘07), Jerichow (2008; Bafici ‘09) and Barbara (Bafici ‘12).
