Born in Buenos Aires in 1973, he studied Image and Sound Design at the UBA. He directed the documentaries Martin Blaszko III (Bafici ‘11) and El humor (pequeña enciclopedia ilustrada) (2006; with M. Llinás), as well as the TV film Pablo Dacal y el misterio del lago Rosario (2008).

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1966, he studied Biology and Filmmaking in that city. He directed the short film Parabéns! (1997) and the feature-length films Phantom (2000), Odete (2005), and To Die Like a Man (2009; Bafici ‘10). Together with João Rui Guerra da Mata, he co-directed Red Dawn (Bafici ‘11) and The Last Time I Saw Macau.
