Chinlin Hsieh

Bio

Born in Taiwan, she moved to France in 1988. She studied piano, fine arts and French literature before stepping in the film world as an assistant director for filmmakers such as Hou Hsiao-Hsien. She was a producer in What Time Is It There? (Tsai Ming-liang; 2001) and worked for international distributors such as Celluloid Dreams. She’s currently a programmer in the International Film Festival Rotterdam, a project advisor in the Danish CPH:LAB and a board member of the Torino Film Fund.
