María Florencia Álvarez

She was born in Buenos Aires in 1977, and studied Filmmaking at the Cinematographic Art Institute. She directed the short films Sobre la tierra (2003), Perro negro (awarded in Bafici ‘05) and Nena (Bafici ‘10). Habi, the Foreigner is her first feature-length film.
