Sandro Aguilar

Born in Portugal in 1974, he studied Filmmaking at the ESTC in Lisbon. Together with João Figueiras, in 1998 he founded the production company O Som e a Fúria, through which he has directed several short films, including A serpente (2005), Arquivo (2007) and Mercúrio (2010), as well as the full-length feature Uprise (2008). Bafici ‘11 held a retrospective of his work.
