Lee Kwang-kuk

Born in South Korea in 1975, he studied Film at the Arts Institute in Seoul. He was an assistant director in several films, including Hong Sang-soo’s Tale of Cinema and Hahaha, and directed many short films, including I.D. (2000), Where Is Daddy? and A Blind Alley (both in 2003). Romance Joe is his first feature-length film.
