Peter Mettler

Bio

Born in 1958 in Toronto, Canada, he studied Filmmaking at the local Ryerson University and lives both in his home country and Switzerland. Bafici ‘03 held a retrospective of his work that screened The Top of His Head (1989), Picture of Light (1994), Balifilm (1997) and Gambling, Gods and LSD (2002). His following work includes Petropolis: Aerial Perspectives on the Alberta Tar Sands (2009; Bafici ‘10), and The End of Time (2012), which is screened in this edition of the Festival.
