Synopsis

Purgatorio

It is set in the interior of an elegant bourgeois home and has such a stage arrangement that allows to multiply and alternate the rooms where the members of a family live. But the household’s everyday life takes, little by little, the form of a dream. Before the crystalline depth of a giant eye, big washes of color appear in the center of the scene as if they were sex organs acquiring a psychic value: a sort of blind spot that allows access to another dimension.

Paradiso

The spectator is led through two rooms connected with each other: a white antechamber that leads, through a little door just like in Alice in Wonderland, to another high-ceiling, black room. In the deep darkness, a silhouette gesticulates as thin water threads fall down. In the paradise of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Cesena, we are suspended in a space the human eye can not reach.
