TODAY’S FILMS AND DISCUSSIONS
The activities for today at the Meeting Point – Salón Real (Sarmiento 1272) will be centered around interesting topics and issues for discussion and reflection. At 4.30 PM, choreographers, artists and researchers will talk about “The Dance of the Future” in a collective conference coordinated by Alina Mazzaferro. And at 6 PM,Halima Tahan, curator of the Rituales de Pasaje program of the Complejo Teatral de Buenos Aires, will speak with Andrea Servera, director of the Combinado Argentino de Danza, about “Tu casa. Ritual de un deseo primitivo”, a performance staged by CAD in the hall of the Teatro San Martín, a place of passage between the inside and the outside of the theatre. On the other hand, at Sala 1 of the Centro Cultural San Martín, the line up of films for today goes as follows: “Los Posibles”, by Santiago Mitre and Juan Onofri Barbato (at 4 PM), about the dance project carried out by youths from a deprived area in the Buenos Aires suburbs; “Viola”, by Matías Piñeiro (at 6.30 PM), about the love affairs of two women, an actress and a movie delivery girl; and “Les Guerriers de la Beauté”, by Pierre Coulibeuf, based on Jan Fabre’s choreographic and theatrical creations. Tickets are free and can be collected (2 per person) 2 hours before showtime.

The book release and award ceremony for the Germán Rozenmacher Award will be held today at 3 PM at the auditorium Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo of the Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas (Corrientes 2038).
