Cristian Bórtoli's biography

Cristian Bortoli began his music career playing the electric bass in different jazz and fusion ensembles. He performed several times in the city of Santa Fe along with saxophonist Andrés Boiarsky and also Perico Sambeat. In 1999 he toured the United States, appearing in different blues festivals including the Downhome Blues Festival in Camden, South Carolina, and Bluestock ’99 in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the double bass player of various ensembles, including Carlos Lastra Trío, Enrique Norris Trío, Pepi Taveira Cuartero and Francisco Lo Vuolo Trío. He also collaborates in different bands with Ernesto Jodos, Natalio Sued, Rodrigo Domínguez and Delfina Oliver, to name just a few. He is about to complete his degree in jazz from the music conservatory Manuel de Falla.
