Sebastián Groshaus

He studied drums with Juan Carlos Licari from 1990 to 1994, and then pursued further studies at the William Paterson College of Music in the United States. He went on to study arranging and composition at the Instituto Profesional ProJazz in Santiago, Chile. As a resident of the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, he was actively involved in the local scene as a member of Carlos Lastra’s band and Diego Rappoport’s trio, and shared the stage with Ernesto Jodos, Hernán Merlo, Walter and Javier Malosetti and Enrique Norris, among others. At present, he lives in Buenos Aires and is an established member of Carlos Lastra’s trio, with which performs frequently at the jazz venues of the city.
