Facundo Guevara's biography

He was born in San Rafael, Mendoza, in October 1969. At an early age he became interested in the percussion of Latin America and the mother earth, Africa. Throughout his numerous trips and extended visits to different countries he had the chance to perform and study with musicians of diverse origins, which led him to widen his sound palette by adding instruments and techniques, mostly from Africa and the Middle East. Facundo gathers all those ingredients and sprinkles them on the great melting pot which is the Argentine music. He has travelled the world performing alongside artists such as Pedro Aznar, Mercedes Sosa, Hernán Ríos, Liliana Herrero, Verónica Condomí and Eva Ayllón, among others.
