Matías Méndez's biography

Born in Buenos Aires, Matías Méndez has been a self-taught bassist since age 15. When he turned 18, he began to work as a sessionist, participating in a variety of projects with such artists as Escalandrum, Ernesto Snajer, Lito Vitale, Nico Cota, Santiago Vázquez and the band Ramón, Hora Cero, La Sandunguera, Guillermo Klein, Argentos, Las Zarigüellas and Bahiano, among others. Among his many albums stand out BH+, recorded with Bahiano; Una nave, with Guillermo Klein; Manifestando, with Argentos; and Todas partes, with Silvia Aramayo.
