Eloy Michelini

Eloy Michelini is a drummer of an extensive and renowned career who accompanied Ernesto Jodos, Mariano Otero and the Buenos Aires Jazz Orquesta, among others. He has toured Latin America, Europe and different provinces in Argentina. In 2000 he appeared with the Buenos Aires Jazz Orquesta at the 34th edition of the Montreux Jazz Festival, alongside George Benson as special guest. In 2006 he performed with Michael Stevens at the Jazz Festival in La Plata and two years later, within the framework of the Buenos Aires Jazz 2008, he had the chance to share the stage with Swedish musicians Peter Asplund and Jakob Karlzon. He is a member of Ernesto Jodos’s trio, with which recorded an acclaimed and prize-winning album paying tribute to Lennie Tristano. At present he leads his own quintet.
