Good music in the open air

Último día de buena música al aire libre

The last day of Buenos Aires Jazz.09, a bank holiday in Argentina, features three concerts within the section “Open Air”, on the beautiful stage of the roof terrace of Centro Cultural Recoleta. The first one is that of trumpeter Mariano Loiacono (photo) and his Quintet at 6pm, followed by the trio made up of Europe-based Argentine musicians Javier Girotto, Quique Sinesi and Martín Bruhn at 7pm. Closing the night on this stage will be the performance by the vocal sextet Cabernet, at 8pm. On this occasion, this emblematic ensemble of the local scene will be delivering a special repertoire featuring a wide selection of standards.
